With a formidable reputation, Elaine has always loved working with young people and is much in demand as an inspiring and highly experienced teacher.

She is the main teacher for teenagers at the Royal Birmingham Junior Conservatoire, teaches at Birmingham University and has a thriving private practice.

Elaine takes immense pleasure in watching her students develop and blossom. Her priority is to nurture and instill confidence, curiosity and a love of playing the cello and music.

She has students in National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, CBSO Youth , many win competitions, perform as soloists with orchestras, achieve diplomas and win scholarships to continue to study at top music colleges. Many of her past students are now leading successful professional lives as cellists themselves.
